WORKSHOPS 2014

Happy 2014!Here is the workshop schedule through March. I will be updating it for April and May in the next month. Please email me or call me if you want to sign up. Unless otherwise noted, all of the workshops that are offered for $50. will be drawing and painting. Artists will work with tempera paint, oil pastel and watercolor paints on fine watercolor paper. Each child will come away with 2 finished pieces at the end of class.

1.11.14: WINTER BIRDS (owl, cardinal and kingfisher) 10AM-1PM $50.
1.11.14: POLAR BEARS AND PENGUINS 2-5PM $50.
11.18.14: WINTER ANIMALS (fox and winter rabbit) 10AM-1PM $50.

1.25 & 26.14: GARGANTUAN CANVAS 10AM-12PM
AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN…IT IS ALWAYS FILLED! IF YOU HAVE AN ARTIST WHO LIKES TO PAINT GIANT PAINTINGS, THEN THIS IS THE WORKSHOP FOR THEM!!! ARTISTS WILL GET TO CHOOSE FROM A VARIETY OF LARGE SIZED CANVASES TO DESIGN AND PAINT THEIR OWN HUGE CANVAS! LIMITED TO 6 STUDENTS. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT PARENTS TALK TO CAYCE FIRST BEFORE THE WORKSHOP STARTS IN ORDER TO GET IDEAS OF WHAT THEY MIGHT WANT TO PAINT.(ADD AN OPTIONAL HANDMADE REDWOOD FRAME FOR ADDITIONAL $50.00) GOOD FOR MOST AGES. $175.

2.1.14: BE MY VALENTINE 10AM-1PM
IT'S BACK!!!COME INTO THE STUDIO TO MAKE YOUR VERY OWN VALENTINE'S CARDS. EACH ARTIST WILL COME AWAY WITH 10 HANDMADE CARDS (much like our Christmas cards workshops), PLUS, ENOUGH LITTLE HANDMADE VALENTINES TO HAND OUT TO ALL THE SPECIAL SOMEONES IN THEIR LIFE (great for getting everyone done in their classes at school). THIS PROMISES TO BE A BEAUTIFUL OUTCOME! IT IS A TRIED AND TRUE, FAVORED WORKSHOP. WE ALWAYS FILL UP IN THE PAST, SO SIGN UP EARLY TO RESERVE A SPACE!

2.8.14: Flower Still Life Canvas 10AM-1PM
Artists will draw and paint from a still life set up in class. Working with acrylic paint, they will be using brushes and pallet knives to add certain textures. Each person will come away with a finished canvas ready to hang on your wall.
$75.

2.22.14: WOODLAND ANIMALS(Deer,Raccoons,Owls,birds,bunnies) 10AM-1PM $50.
3.1.14: JUNGLE ANIMALS(Tigers, monkeys, toucans and more) 1-4pm $50.
3.15.14: Spring Flowers 1-4pm $50.

3.22.14: BUDDING BRANCHES ON CANVAS 1-4PM
Spring is here! Celebrate it by making your own canvas full of spring. We will be using pallet knives for an extra texture.Artists come away with a finished 16x20 canvas.
$75.

3.29.14: GARDEN CANVAS 1-4PM
COME INTO THE STUDIO FOR THIS ONE-DAY WORKSHOP TO CREATE A WHIMSICAL GARDEN ON CANVAS. FILLED WITH BRIGHT DOTTED FLOWERS, TALL GRASSES AND THEN EMBELLISHED WITH GEMS AND GLITTER THIS WILL BE A PLEASURE TO CREATE AND A BRIGHT SPOT ON YOUR WALLS FOR YEARS TO COME. GREAT FOR ALL AGES.
