In addition, I will be available to teach other days/times of the week for private and/or small classes. If you do not see a time that works for you, please call to see if we can arrange a different time. It is often the case that if you choose to do private lessons, it works just as well to do every other week (2 days per month) instead of weekly.

Private (one-on-one instruction) lesson fees: $50.00 per hour (does not include supply fee if working in large canvas, clay or mosaics)
Small Class (if you would like to get a specific small group together) fee: $50.00 for first child, $15.00 per child after that. Up to 5 kids.

And By The Way, Classes Do Start This Week

So come to class if you can. If not, we'll see you next week. Happy New Year!!

Gargantuan Canvas This Week!

We are spontaneously offering a workshop at the end of this week for those of you that are not back in school (or I guess there is nothing wrong in my opinion of missing school for this workshop either!). Gargantuan Canvas Painting!! It is always a sold out (with a wait list) workshop, so if your little artist has BIG ideas, and you have the wall space to show it off, then this is a great workshop to come to. Here is the info:
Offered this Thursday and Friday. 10am-1pm Snack and all supplies included. Just show up with ideas and painting clothes. $150.
And here are some more pictures of past workshops:

So Many Posts!

Okay, so I had a lot to catch up on. I have posted so many posts, they don't fit on this one page. So if you want to see what we have been up to at the studio for the past 2 months, then scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on "older posts" and that will continue all the pictures.

Lots and LOTS of Snowmen

Textured canvas. So fun, so holiday, so beautiful. Something you will look forward to pulling out every year. And yes, those are real branches for their arms, but not a real carrot for their noses. We made those out of clay.

Cookie Cutter Ornaments

Make Your Own Stocking

It was a wonderful night, full of designing, sewing, pizza, hot cocoa and LOTS of giggles. Very fun and how cute are these?

Holiday Canvas

Holiday Painting

Just 3 Little Birds

To be perched on your table as a centerpiece, or nesting in some corner of the living room, or hung from branches. I was sad to see these go home. They turned out so cute (and would fit so pefectly in my home)...

Placemats

A perfectly good reason to get up in the morning. Talk about a good start to your day...Oh! And you can wipe them all down or turn them around and draw on the backs of them with markers. Now that I have children of my own, I have come to love beauty in a house that is bullet proof.

Cutest Christmas Cards. Ever.

Or that I have ever seen. We had a lot of fun awhile back making all these fabulous Christmas cards. Fabric, watercolor, papers and course a little glitter. I know it is about giving, but HOW do you part with these?

Lauren

Well, I would like to do a whole post on this sweet girl, showing the work she has done through the years (coming soon). I have had her in class with me since she was in 4th grade. She is now a freshman in high school and I sometimes wonder why I still get to have her. She is quiet, patient, completely self sufficient, a perfectionist and happens to have an excellent eye for detail. Well, and she nails it. Really, really proud of her. And this jaguar? Yeah, rendered from a 4x6 photo, this drawing is 12x16 in real life. Stunning.

Charley Harper

Love, love, LOVE Charley Harper. And as it turns out, so did the kids. We all painted our favorite one day in class right in the middle of fall. They turned out great.
